2023 Summer Camp
Join us for a week of outdoor adventure and nature-based creativity in a community of other girls and nonbinary youth. Everyday we will explore an outdoor activity: rock climbing, biking, and canoeing. To complement these adventure sports, we will spend part of each day observing and reflecting on the natural world through drawing and journaling.

What will we do?
We’ll start the week by learning rock climbing skills at Movement Rock Gym and exploring nature parks in SW Portland with our sketch pads. We will then have the opportunity to bike in SE Portland neighborhoods and along the Springwater Corridor east of Powell Butte Nature Park with professional mountain biking coach, Elaine Bothe. To celebrate our week, we will paddle in the waters around Kelly Point Park and gather on the beach to share our drawings from the week.
