Why I Joined Betties360
I want to instill confidence and well being to girls through outdoor adventure. It truly is amazing how much healing and empowerment can be found through this inspiring community. Betties360 provides underserved girls  tools that they can utilize the rest of their lives.
What do you do when you’re not working at Betties360?
I am a Certified Expressive Art Therapist, I facilitate programs for underserved populations, most recently for victims of human trafficking. I enjoy exploring new places, and have been fortunate to teach and travel abroad.

Arcadia Trueheart, Program Assistant
Favorite Outdoor Activities
Hiking, biking, rock climbing, swimming in rivers and lakes, drawing in nature.
Why I Joined Betties360
As a child and teen, the natural world was a source of grounding and inspiration for me. I enjoyed climbing trees, making forest forts, wading in streams, and going backpacking with my dad. I want to make these opportunities for connection with nature and physical confidence possible for more girls. I am excited to also bring my love of theater and art to this program to foster communication, individual expression, and community creation.
What do you do when you’re not working at Betties360?
I work as a freelance artist designing art for healthcare facilities, running a community art/storytelling project called Handmade Stories, and volunteering with a school-based restorative justice theater group, Acción Intercultural con Corazón (Intercultural Action with Heart).
