The SnowBetties! Snowshoeing Adventure takes place on Mount Hood, at the Mazamas Lodge and Trillium Lake, every year in January or February. Nine girls are carefully paired with adult female mentors. The intention is to forge a strong relationship between mentor and mentee, while they learn to snowshoe together. As a group, the participants learn backcountry safety techniques and map / compass skills, and participate in team-building and goal-setting exercises. All of this is working toward the central mission of Betties360 – to build confidence and well being in young women through healthy activity and new challenges.
